いま日本語化できたから、順次改編しながら書き込みします。完全備忘録。amd64。
LAN card / JMicron Technology Corp. JMC250 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller rev 03 及び、全体のインストール
- lenny 5.0 じゃうまくいかなかったので、現時点の最新、5.0.3 を expart mode でネットインストール
- JMicron のLANカードのドライバをあてられず、ネットワーク設定のとき引っかかって前に進まない
- ので、ネットワーク設定や時間設定などはスルーして、とにかくインストール、再起動
- 再起動後、「#modprobe jme」して、ネットワーク設定 あたくしんとこは dhcp で設定
- チップは「jmc250」のようだが、モジュールは「jme」のようです
- これでウマー 。後は順次 apt-get
video card / ATI Technologies Inc M92 [Mobility Radeon HD 4500 Series]
- 今現在のインストーラではドライバが無い
- amdのページ http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx からドライバをとってくる
- # ./ati-driver-installer-9-12-x86.x86_64.run –install して終了。あっさりX起動
その他
- # apt-get install kdebase kde-l10n-ja ttf-kochi-gothic すれば、たぶん文字化けせずに日本語で起動すると思われ
- 共有ドライブはここを参考に「/dev/hdaX /m_point ntfs-3g defaults、locale=ja_JP.UTF-8、umask=0 0 0」
- uim 、 uim-prime あたりを突っ込んで再ログインしたら、勝手に書き込みできるようになる。昔と違って簡単だ
- iceweasel、akregatorなどの移行は、設定ファイルをまるごとコピーする。インポートとか使うよりはるかに簡単。
- iceweasel / ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxx.default/* を、そのまま同じ場所へ全てコピーxxxxxxxはマシンによって違う
- akregator / ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator/* を、そのまま同じ場所へ全てコピー
- タッチパッドでタッチできん。gsynapticesで設定

gimp と gqview をインストールしてgimp 立ち上げて、スナップショットとった、という一連の動作のkde標準システムモニターw。一番上で、ちゃんと8コア動いているんだぁ〜、と分かる。
